PocDoc makes headlines on ITV News and front page of Daily Mail

PocDoc is pleased to announce that we have been featured on ITV’s This Morning program. Our Healthy Heart Check was showcased on the popular television program in their Behind the Health Headlines segment as a “Tech Revolution for Our Health”.

The feature involved GP Dr Nighat highlighting the impact of the Healthy Heart Check in preventing deaths related to cardiovascular disease while empowering patients to take care of their own health.

“We can now risk stratify all our patients because we can then pick up people who have high cholesterol if they’re young in their forties and might not have any other symptoms and then say to them you need to come in and see us to have targeted specific groups that we actually then capture before they get worse.”

As part of ITV’s coverage, the news program also featured Emily, a working professional who found herself struggling with rising blood pressure after switching to remote work and balancing caregiving responsibilities during the pandemic. With cardiovascular disease responsible for 170,000 deaths annually in the UK, early screening is crucial—yet 80% of these deaths could be prevented. PocDoc’s test makes heart health monitoring faster, easier, and more accessible than ever.
