Head of Regulatory from Government’s UK Health Security Agency joins PocDoc

PocDoc can today announce that Rob Barber, a 35 year veteran in the invitro diagnostic devices and software-as-medical device (SaMD) has joined the growing team in Cambridge as Head of Regulatory and Quality.

Most recently, Rob has led the UK Health Security Agency’s regulatory affairs with specific responsibility for all COVID-19 testing and reporting, including Test and Trace, throughout the pandemic.

Prior to this, Rob led regulatory teams at Uniliver, Thermo Fisher and Olympus.

He is a lead auditor for BIVDA (British In-Vitro Diagnostics Association) of which PocDoc is also a member.
