MIDDLESBROUGH, ENGLAND — PocDoc, in partnership with Middlesbrough Football Club (MFC) Foundation and Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria (AHSN NENC), is proud to announce the launch of an innovative health initiative aimed at providing comprehensive heart health checks directly to the community at the Riverside Stadium and across the wider Boro area. This collaboration is part of a focused effort to enhance accessible healthcare and promote cardiovascular well-being among the residents of Middlesbrough.

Going where the people are

Middlesbrough Football Club (MFC) is the heart of the community, regularly getting tens of thousands of fans coming to match days and its Foundation is a leader in community-based healthcare across the region. PocDoc has joined forces with MFC Foundation and AHSN NENC to bring innovative cardiovascular health check services to the people – and in a first for Middlesbrough FC, fans will be able to get a Match Day Health Check before matches at the iconic Riverside.

This initiative centres around PocDoc’s proprietary 5-lipid marker test, which delivers a comprehensive cholesterol check within just 7 minutes, alongside other essential health factors such as QRISK scoring and Heart Health.
